Online registration closes June 3rd. You can still register during packet pickup at TerraLoco in Rochester on Saturday June 4th from 3-5pm OR 1 hour prior to each event on race day.

The Midnight Start - 50 Mile is back!

The Chester Woods Trail Races are so much fun! A chance to test yourself with friends! The 2022 5K, 10 Mile, 50K, and 50 Mile each gives you a chance to explore Chester Woods park, while enjoying some wonderful views and a handful of challenging hills! Join us on June 5th and travel the trails with us!

Team R.E.D. is again the host, and grateful for the volunteerism and support of the SE Minnesota Trail Runners. Our mission to create a fantastic trail experience with a wonderful post-race celebration! Live music greets you at the finish line!

  • Remember there is a $5.00 fee to enter Chester Woods Park.

Race Options

10 Mile Trail Run

Mason Run 10 Mile - This is a great way to see the park. You’ll experience fantastic look-outs and see the dam from above. Additionally, you’ll get to experience the Big Dam Hill!

5K Trail Run

Mason Run 5K - This is a fast and fun trail course! Enjoy the park and get your 5K on!

 

50 Mile Trail Run

Welcome to the 2nd annual 50 Mile at Chester Woods! The event starts at midnight with a staffed aid station approximately 5 miles into the loop, and an opportunity to pass your car for self support at 10 miles each loop.

Note: There is a 2pm cutoff for this event - that’s 14 hours to cover the 50 mile course.

50K Trail Run

Mason Run 50K - Three times the fun of the 10 Mile! Get your ultra run in and enjoy the scenic Chester Woods Park!

Note: There is a 2pm cutoff for this event - that’s 8 hours to cover the 31 mile course.
