About our race
The 2015 ROC Classic 5k, 10k & Kids Mile is a fun and exciting race that raises money for the Rochester Orcas Swim Club & Cyclone Triathlon Team. Last year we were able to raise nearly $8,000. The money raised for this event goes back to the kids in many ways. 2015 brings many changes and added expenses to both organizations. The Orcas Swim Club is taking on a huge project this year in building their very own aquatics & training complex. This is going to be a state of the art facility that will house both the Orcas as well as Triton Multisports. We are both very excited about this new facility and we can't wait to watch the kids enjoy their new training space. As we all know, this facility will require added expenses for both organizations. We hope that we can count on your support for this race in 2015!
ROC Classic 5k, 10k & Kids 1 Mile
- Saturday, May 16th
- Packet Pickup & Race Day Reg- 7:30-8:30 am
- Kids Mile- 8:40 am
- 5k- 9:00 am
- 10k- 9:05 am
- Post race awards following the 10k finishers
- Soldiers Field Park
Details
- The 5k and 10k will be chip timed by Racers Edge Timing
- The 5k and 10k will have different running routes
- Start & Finish of all races will be in the middle of Soldiers Field Track
- Enjoy local vendors and activities that will be present before, during and after the race
- Enjoy early morning beverages and post race refreshments and snacks
- Each runner who registers prior to May 6th will receive a free ROC Classic T-shirt
- The first 300 finishers will receive a ROC Classic finishers medal
- Lots of cool door prizes will be given away during post race activities
- 5k & 10k awards given to 1st place male and female in the following age groups

- Packet pickup and registration available on Friday, May 15th from 3-7pm @ TerraLoco
- Register online at Active or in person at TerraLoco during regular business hours
- Online registration closes May 14th @ 5pm
- Race day packet pickup and registration available from 7:30-8:30am
